Our current distance education model has made connecting with you, my PAA students, quite difficult. I am a bit concerned about assigning a woodworking or metalworking project for fear of proper supervision. I don't want to be responsible for you ending up in the hospital, ha, ha.
So, I'm bringing to you a new opportunity. All of you have had varying amounts of experience using one or more drafting programs. The assignments associated with these programs have helped you learn some basic skills and terminology but has always lacked the practical aspect that PAA so often delivers. The school has recently purchased a 3D printer. I am encouraging you to follow the tutorial that I've provided and then submit your completed file to myself. I will print the file for you and then mail the finished product to your home. Below you will find the link to the tutorial. Enjoy! http://mneudorf.weebly.com/drafting.html We are going to be making our first attempts at leatherworking. Feel free to ask any questions about getting started and what types of projects we will be focusing on. Yesterday, in 1902, the V8 engine was patented. In honour of this milestone, feel free to watch this video. |
